RAMONA Quattro

Introducing the RAMONA Quattro*-an ultra-sensitive β-HPLC flow detector designed for unparalleled performance in radiochemical analysis. This advanced instrument integrates four beta-radioactivity coincidence flow detectors into a single, efficient unit, providing superior detection capabilities for precise chromatographic measurements.

Key Features

• Four-Detector System: The RAMONA* Quattro employs four pairs of 2 x 1 1/8” photomultipliers arranged in coincidence, allowing for the measurement of beta radioactivity across four flow cells positioned sequentially.

• Individual Trace Monitoring: Each coincidence detector measures beta radioactivity in the HPLC flow independently, enabling detailed monitoring of individual traces. The recording PC displays all four traces simultaneously, showing the same chromatogram with slight delays as the fraction moves through each detector.

• Adjustable Flow Delays: The flow time between detectors can be determined and adjusted individually, allowing for precise alignment and analysis. This enables the generation of four simultaneous chromatograms, which can be combined into a fifth trace displaying the total count.

• Enhanced Sensitivity: By integrating peak detection during measurement, the RAMONA* Quattro significantly improves sensitivity. As peaks grow linearly by a factor of four, the background noise increases only by a factor of two, enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio.

• Flexible Display Options: Users can choose to display the four individual traces or suppress them to show only the summed result, providing versatility in data presentation.

The RAMONA Quattro* is the ideal choice for laboratories requiring high sensitivity and precision in β-HPLC flow detection, offering cutting-edge technology for advanced radiochemical applications.
