DV2Plus Viscometer – Laboratory Viscosity
Measurement with Touchscreen Control
The DV2Plus is a modern laboratory viscometer from AMETEK Brookfield, designed for fast, repeatable viscosity testing across a very wide range of materials—from thin inks to heavy industrial pastes. As the successor to the widely used DV2T, it combines a large 7” touchscreen interface, ultra-fine speed control (740 speed steps), built-in test tools (including Gel Timer), and flexible connectivity for today’s lab workflows.
Why choose DV2Plus
• 7” full-color PCAP touchscreen with a high-resolution 800×480 display, wide viewing angle, and an intuitive, modern interface
• 740-speed control for ultra-fine adjustment of test conditions across diverse applications
• Built-in Gel Timer to monitor gel/curing behavior (ideal for resins, epoxies, and curing systems)
• Viscosity Wizard for guided setup of complex tests
• Favorites Menu for one-tap access to your most-used methods
• Post-test graphing + PDF export (torque vs. time), enabling quick reporting and documentation
• Automated Oscillation Testing for enhanced test capability
• Digital leveling for easier setup and more consistent measurements
• HPQA integration for faster, more repeatable testing when used with the Helipath Quick Action Stand
• Integrated connectivity: 4× USB-A ports, 1× USB-B port, and optional Bluetooth for peripherals and PC connection
What you can monitor in real time
The DV2Plus interface provides real-time insights during testing, including:
• Viscosity (cP or mPa·s)
• Temperature (°C or °F)
• Shear rate / shear stress
• % Torque
• Spindle and speed
• Step program status (when running programmed methods)
Performance specifications
• Accuracy: ±1.0% of range
• Repeatability: ±0.2%
