The PLT Pelletizer is a compact and efficient system designed for the production of pellets from powders and wetted powders. It is well suited to R&D, process development, pilot-scale trials, and small-batch production across pharmaceutical and other processing industries.
Operating on the disk pelletizing principle, the PLT uses a rotating stainless-steel pan to promote controlled agglomeration and pellet growth. During processing, the material rolls across the surface of the pan, forming pellets that continuously move towards the edge for straightforward collection and subsequent drying.

Operating Principle
The clockwise rotation of the pelletizing pan produces the rolling action required for pellet formation. Pellet size can be influenced by several process parameters, including:
- Pan rotation speed
- Operating angle
- Solid-to-liquid ratio
- Feed material properties
As pelletization proceeds, finished pellets roll over the pan edge and can be collected in a suitable container for drying or further processing.
